Aniket bhardwaj, ECE fourth-year student has got ISTE best student award 2016.

He got the award for best student 2016 at NIT Hamirpur by Indian Society for Technical Education for innovation and research. The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) is the leading National Professional non-profit making Society for the Technical Education System in our country with the motto of Career Development of Teachers and Personality Development of Students and overall development of our Technical Education System.

He received the award for patents on combinational SIM lock system for mobile and smart inverter technology.
SIM lock system has a physical lock on the SIM tray, which is linked with the screen lock pattern. The SIM can be removed only when we unlock the phone as it makes it easy to get a mobile phone back when we misplace it or in case of a theft because we have the SIM inside the phone, which makes it easy to track the mobile.

Nominations were from northern section of India and students with innovative excellence in patent and research were given this award. He was the only student in HP, who got the award at the 19th student annual convention at NIT Hamirpur. The major objective of the ISTE is to provide motivation to people for excelling in the field of engineering and Aniket has been able to make a mark. We congratulate him for his feat.
