It was a day of pride for basketball team of Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh, as they clinched the winner’s trophy at IIT Roorkee.

They had gone to be a part of SAMAR 14’ held at IIT Roorkee where they outshone all the other teams in the basketball tournament.

Satvinder Thakur of ECE, second year, was declared the best player of the tournament. He certainly proved to be an asset for his team.

The team came back with the trophy and received a warm welcome by the entire campus. The team was appreciated and applauded for their efforts as players as they held their win with pride. Everyone at Chitkara University congratulates the winners wishes them best of everything in life.
