It was all about putting brains and trying to defeat the opponents as ivory met ebony on a chessboard. It was time for the students to play chess during the chess competition that was organized by hostel committee of Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh.

The students could be seen in a pensive mood as they thought about various moves to defeat the opponent during the competition.

Many students took part in the competition to display their intellectual side and those who managed to outshine others were Ravi Kaushik, who stood first, Divij Jawa clinched the second spot and the third place was grabbed by Prachi.

Chitkara University has always believed that all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy and due to this ideology, fun games, both indoor and outdoor, are organized on a regular basis. We would like to congratulate all the winners and appreciate all the participants for their efforts.
