Project Display

If you have carried out an engineering project that is directed toward solving campus problems (EPIP) or directed towards community service (EPICS) then showcase it during Techelone 2019 and get a chance to win attractive prizes.

Rules
  • Project should be a working model or prototype
  • In addition to working model, students may use PPT or poster to showcase their projects but working model is a must.
  • Electrical power connection and table will be provided to each team.
  • Teams must bring all the material with them to set-up the demo.
  • Teams must be ready with their demo set-up before the stipulated time.
Registration
  • Each member of the team must register individually on the online registration portal and pay the fee.
  • Upon completing individual registration, approach the event coordinator and submit your team details.

Simulate It

Simulating electronic circuit is very important activity before the circuit is implemented on hardware. There are lots of SPICE simulation tools available like PSPICE, TINA, MultiSIM etc. In Simulate It, registered students teams will be given a problem statement with a circuit at-least one week in advance. On the day of the competition teams will be asked to change values of circuit components and run some simulations on it.

Rules
  • 30 minutes will be given to students to complete the given task on the day of the competition
  • Students may use any simulation tool and must bring their own laptops.
  • Each team may comprise of maximum 2 students.

E-Waste Artist

We know very well that Electronic Waste or E-waste which includes but not limited to used batteries, computer hardware, discarded phone, discarded PCBs, wires, connecters, used CDs etc are a big problem today and we must find ways to recycle, reuse some of these electronic stuffs.

This activity, E-Waste Artist is going to provide you wonderful opportunity to showcase your artistic skills with E-waste. Participating teams are welcome to make anything artistic using E-Waste and demonstrate it on the day of the competition. It may or may not be a working model. The evaluation will be done totally based on artistic skills

Rules
  • It is going to be a demonstration on the day of the competition; participating teams must build their model well in advance before the competition.
  • Non-toxic e-waste should be used only. Organizers reserves the right to disqualify any team for using toxic material
  • We will not provide any e-waste to teams for building their models.
  • Teams must be ready with their set-up before the stipulated time on the day of the competition.
  • Each team may comprise of maximum 4 students.

Important Note
  • Decision of the judges will be final. Participating students/teams are strongly advised to refrain from discussing/arguing results with organizers, judges, coordinators etc.
