Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh, witnessed its annual cultural festival, ALGORYTHM’16 – Textures in Time with much gaiety and enthusiasm.
Algorythm is a celebration of dynamic youth, which endeavors to create a platform for youth to showcase their talent. The fiesta is all about bringing together the creativity, intellect and vibrant talent of the youth.
The fest included various events ranging from dancing to singing, acting to mimicry, creative events to fun events, modeling, drama and many more. All the events were organized by the students who were experts in their respective fields. Renowned judges like Ms. Vanya Mishra,Femina Miss India World 2012, were invited to judge these events so that no biased decisions were made.
Students from 60 different universities participated in this mega event and won different competitions, were awarded with trophies, certificates and cash prizes worth Rs 8 lakhs.

Dr Madhu Chitkara walked the ramp to encourage the students. The Campus dazzled with different activities and amazing performances. With its seamless blend of competitive bout and incessant exuberance, Algorythm provided the perfect platform to students to show their mettle and also extol their euphoria.
Satinder Sartaj enthralled the folks present with his talent during mehefil-e-sartaj. The fest turned out to be very successful and fulfilling for the institution as well as the students.
The event was all about passion and its personification. Rhythm flowing in events saw euphoria engulfing the student fraternity to rejoice the magical moments of University life.
