Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh, has scored 3.5 Stars out of 5 in the National Level Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) rating for the session 2021–22. This stupendous rating validates the fact that Chitkara University has touched the pinnacle in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship culture development.

This achievement basically is an outcome of the efforts of the Innovation Council at Chitkara University which constitutes of faculty, experts, and students who collectively undertake multiple activities to promote Innovation and Entrepreneurship round the year. The dedicated council prepares students with skills like critical thinking, design thinking, innovative thought process, and entrepreneurial mindset. It conducts various Innovation, IPR, and entrepreneurship-related activities prescribed by MIC in a time-bound fashion, and also identifies and rewards innovations. IIC also works towards organizing periodic workshops/ seminars/ interactions with entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals and creating a mentor pool for student innovators.

With an existing ecosystem to promote Innovation, Entrepreneurship and IPR, Chitkara University has been able to create a vibrant local innovation ecosystem for all its students and faculty.
