It was indeed an expression of benevolence, care and compassion on Children’s Day by the NSS volunteers of Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh, as our students celebrated the occasion.

Our students carried out various activities, along with the volunteers of Sufy Club, who were at the campus to assist the NSS volunteers.

The students gathered various slum children from nearby areas and distributed warm clothes among the needy. Apart from the children, there were some labourers also who were given away some caps and clothes by our students.

Apart from this, there were various activities lined up for students who had come from Government Senior Secondary School, Nankpur. The winners were given away prizes by staff and faculty of Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh. A motivational lecture was also organized for the students of the government school on the occasion of Children’s Day.
