Kashish Garg, Pulkit Sachdeva from CSOET attend summer school at Scotland

“Entrepreneurs are born, not made” was the prevalent norm and to break the barriers attached, Kashish Garg of 2015 batch and Pulkit Sachdeva of 2016 batch, students pursuing Computer Science Engineering at Chitkara School of Engineering & Technology are attending a Summer School on Entrepreneurship and Innovation for Social Impact at Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU), Scotland.

Both of our students believe that it is necessary for an entrepreneur to be successful is that they have an understanding of the tasks they will need to control to operate effectively and efficiently. The summer program will allow Kashish and Pulkit to explore the business constraints that all businesses must address but through the use of a team-based exercise. They are working with others to create an entrepreneurial concept and plan a robust approach schedule of actions that will lead to the success of the concept.

Pulkit and Kashish, while talking about the program said, “In practice, there is seldom a “perfect” solution to an identified opportunity so to ensure there is as much reality to the project the academic approach has been blended learning using a mixture of lectures, seminars and practical workshops. Practical sessions are linked to lecture subjects incorporating problem-based learning strategies and e-learning material.”

They extended their gratitude to their alma mater appreciating the fact that Chitkara University believes in breaking the barriers and helping students to explore their potential to the fullest. We wish the duo best of everything in their lives.
