To understand the importance of NAAC step-by-step, a session on Quality Assurance through NAAC: Benefit for Students was organized on 31.10.2022 by Chitkara School of Pharmacy, in association with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Chitkara University Himachal Pradesh.

The session sensitized the Pharmacy students about the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Its Purpose, Role, Importance, and top advantages of obtaining NAAC Accreditation for Students and HEIs.

During the session, it was discussed why NAAC accreditation is regarded as a standard for assessing an institution’s educational excellence. Since every student aspires to obtain the best education, the NAAC rating of an institute can be regarded as a guide while taking admission.

Henceforth, when an institution boasts about its good NAAC grades, it is a sign of the high-quality education it provides to its pupils. The benefits of NAAC Accreditation are that it aspires to help students achieve their full potential by providing opportunities for them to learn new skills and develop into great intellectuals. If an institution has bad NAAC ratings, it must seek to improve its faculty, placements, infrastructure, international tie-ups, and overall academic and non-academic mobility.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) of India, in the interest of aspiring students, has made it obligatory for every educational institution and its staff of educators to obtain appropriate certification in order to ensure that students who are admitted to the colleges achieve excellent results and performance.
