Centre for Sustainable Environmental Research

Sustainability development is the pathway towards Sustainability and it has become a central concept in the present-day discourse on economic development and organizational goals. There are various competing approaches as to what is to be made ‘sustainable’, under what conditions, for what purpose, and by whom. While sustainability in practice is a goal to be urgently achieved, the theoretical and conceptual background for doing so is fraught with uncertainty and ambiguity.

The Center for Sustainable Environment, would aim and work on different aspects of sustainability development by forging a channel for all age groups of regional population from across all sections; through dissemination of knowledge awareness and contact programs on various technological innovations, adoption of indigenous skills, and helping them exploring their local assets and converting into wealth; intellectual and economic both.

It would also lead and foster partnership with in and with mutual agreed framework; in building environment by promoting innovative solutions through convergence of all the stakeholders.

Objectives
  • To Foster the ecosystem that supports social impact businesses specifically in the field of environment, agriculture and allied, rural skill development, waste management & recycling
  • To succeed while benefiting the health of people, health of the environment, and health of the economy as drivers of their innovation pipelines and business strategies
  • To provide best of the solutions to facilitate and nurture the local needs and their economic growth.
  • To facilitate commercialization of the technologies benefitting the environment and society as a whole.
FOCUS AREAS

Objectives of the center are to be realized through a focus on:

  • Environmental Economics
  • Food & Water, Health and Hygiene
  • Preserving the Nature and Biodiversity
  • Education Environment
