Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh, celebrated the spirit of womanhood with its inaugural ‘Women’s Leadership Summit’ in commemoration of International Women’s Day. Themed ‘Inspire Inclusion: Empowering Women, Shaping Futures,’ the summit brought together a distinguished panel of women leaders to share their insights and experiences.

The summit featured an illustrious panel comprising Azmina Poddar, Managing Director and Chief Creative Officer at Accenture; Shaon Sengupta, Studio Director & Head of Design at Philips India; Lata Menon, Country Head HR India & MEA at Equifax; and Shalu Sood, AVP HR – Head Talent Management, OD, L&D, D&I at JSW Energy Limited. Dr. Cavita Taragi, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Industry Partnerships at Chitkara University, skilfully moderated the session, guiding discussions on fostering inclusion and empowering women in leadership roles.
 
The panellists shared invaluable insights, anecdotes, and perspectives on breaking gender barriers, overcoming challenges, and driving positive change in the workplace. Their collective wisdom and experiences served as a source of inspiration for attendees, highlighting the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in organisational leadership.

Adding to the celebratory atmosphere, stand-up artist Neeti Palta delivered a rib-tickling performance, delighting the audience and infusing the summit with laughter and joy.
