March 15 and 16 saw various sports activities lined up for the students at the Himachal Pradesh campus of Chitkara University. It was the Inter-University Annual Sports Meet where several competitions were organised and students battled it out on ground to clinch various titles.

Hundreds of students participated in the event with 250 boys and 150 girls from all over the north zone being a part of the event. The meet comprised various events such as 100-meter relay race, long jump, shot put and javelin throw and more.

The chief guest of the event was honourable Pro Chancellor, Chitkara University, Dr Madhu Chitkara, along with Vice-Chancellor, Chitkara University, Dr R.S. Grewal.

Other prominent staff members at the meet were Registrar, Dr Varinder Kanwar, Dean, Administration, Col (Retd) Y.C. Chibber, Dean, Student Affairs, Col (Retd) Kulwant Singh.

The event witnessed immense participation of enthusiastic students who put in their best efforts and displayed immense team spirit and integrity. The winners were awarded trophies and certificates. All and all, it was a successful event, as the university proudly stood with its logo of exploring the potential, which, indeed, was well kept with high spirits.
