My time spent at Chitkara University was surely amazing. All four years spent at the campus were truly exciting and were filled with a lot of learning opportunities. In the first year I attended all the sessions which gave me the much needed motivation to understand the concepts taught. I made some amazing friends throughout this journey and cherish each and every moment. All faculty members who taught me were very helpful and talented. I would like to thank each and every staff and faculty member to people working at the university tuck shop for assisting us. To conclude, I would like to say it was a great experience and I am thankful to Chitkara University for providing me with this opportunity.

Chitkara University provided me a great platform to explore, learn and grow both personally and professionally. The guidance provided by the faculty has been phenomenal and has helped me in every phase of my career. The unique blend of distinguished faculty, professional values, innovation, technical training and detailed curriculum helped me “explore my potential” in true essence. Chitkara University helped me secure two internships at ST Microelectronics, Gr. Noida and Emerson Information Technology Solutions, Mohali which helped me kick start my career as a Database Administrator and Technical Business Analyst. Currently, I am working as a Data Analyst at Intellihub Limited, Auckland, New Zealand and I extend my deepest gratitude to my alma-mater for providing a smooth transition from campus to professional life and inspiring me to pursue my goals with hard work and dedication.

I recently got featured as one of the top volunteers in the National Volunteer Week and all credit goes to rigorous training and overall development at “Chitkara”. I must say this University is one of the prestigious Institutions of the country imparting the industry leading education with in-house expertise driving excellence.” Thanks for everything to my Alma Mater.

I am an Automated Logistics Specialist in the US Army. It’s just because of my exceptional learning phase at Chitkara that prepared me for the world to spread my wings and reach the zenith of success. I am grateful to my Alma Mater for shaping & chiseling me to sensibly & beautifully adapt the ways of the world.

It’s been really heartening to pen down few of my thoughts related to one of my most cherished memories of my life ever: “Chitkara Days”. The memories have been countless in terms of not only receiving tremendous learning experiences but also the ever reliable non-scholastic activities taught by our proficient professors throughout our college journey. The outcome of all that hard work is a true mirror reflection of where I stand today. Right from observing various technical and challenging roles throughout my career, I got a chance to represent and implement IT for world’s leading experience business partners where Microsoft, France was a major breakthrough in terms of my career which I have always dreamt for and looking ahead to implement indispensable IT solution for Microsoft, Vegas next month which surely again would be a relishing strive for my potential. Still remember our very own Honorable Dr. Ashok K. Chitkara who vigorously used to believe in the fact of exploring our inner caliber instead of getting afraid of outside obstacles. Might be just another brick in the wall for many of you but trust me, this would remain on top of my thought process ever and would continue to carry the goodwill of this University wherever I go.

I completed my Masters in Big Data from Simon Fraser University, Vancouver. Employers aren’t just interested in degrees these days. You have got to look at the other ways you can expand yourself. Chitkara University helps a person to get on in life; it provides an atmosphere that is conducive to creative and productive learning. Reflecting back to my stint as Batch 2011 in Computer Science Engineering , on the whole experience now, I see it as a place where I learnt to balance my academic work and social life, a place where I cultivated friendship with some truly wonderful people. I certainly learned that hard work pays off, both in and outside the classroom. But above all, I am profoundly grateful to the teachers that challenged me every day to take on something new and out of my comfort zone. I will be forever grateful to Chitkara University for making me both the engineer and individual I am today.

He shares his journey at Chitkara with Nostalgia. Prior to taking up his Masters, he had the opportunity of working for a Marketing agency who worked with elite passion brands of India such as Viacom18 Media, MTV, Vh1, LinkedIn and Cafe Coffee Day.Jasraj says “Training is everything. The peach was once a bitter almond; cauliflower is nothing but cabbage with a college education – Mark Twain”. It has been 7 years since the first day of Chitkara University. A plethora of opportunities have come across ever since that day. It was because of the persevering dedication for the various opportunities that came along this path, that I was able to find my calling in life. Still on a pursuit of pushing boundaries and ‘exploring the potential’ in order to fill this world with creativity.

A good University warrants efficient learning of the subject, but a great university ensures fruitful learning about everything. In 2010, when I began my journey with Chitkara University, it was as good as sailing on a boat in an endless ocean, without a guide. Chitkara was an ocean of opportunities, apparently, encompassing the potential of our minds, driven by the exuberance and inquisitiveness of our youth. Today, 8-Years later, we have come very far from where we first began. People, work dynamics, and the entire world around have changed from it was in 2010, but even today, looking back, there is one aspect that remains constant; which is the unexplainable, intricate, and eternal bond we share with Chitkara University.

I am grateful to my Alma Mater for being a source of strength and prompting me to excel and explore my potential. At Chitkara University, I was provided with innumerable opportunities to learn and grow. Graduating as a Computer Science Engineer from Chitkara University has played a substantial role in what I am today. I am into developing software configurations and customizations for ITSM (IT Service Management) for various industries. I was awarded at Nagarro Excellence Awards (Nagarro-India Edition) as an appreciation to my excellent performance and outstanding contribution to the project, which stood as one of the best performers in the business unit. I look forward to connect back to my Alma Mater as a proud Alum today and forever.

After writing my Bachelor thesis with Hochschule Osnabruck, Germany, while studying engineering at Chitkara University, I got the opportunity to continue my studies further in Technische Universität Chemnitz, Germany pursuing two year Web Engineering Course. Having finishing my first semester, I came to know about scrum and related new work options. I really liked the role called Scrum Master, so I prepared myself for that role and got selected in Chemnitz based IT company. I am the “First Official Scrum Master” at Staffbase, Chemnitz and I owe these achievements to my Alma Mater and thank Chitkara for giving me this flight which is taking me to new heights every day, day after day.

It would be difficult to sum up four years at Chitkara in just a few lines. I must say that the learning & exposure which University gives is commendable. I would always be grateful to Chitkara for giving me multi-dimensional learning by providing the apt mix of academics, industry exposure & leadership. The place where talent is nurtured by the great professors, who had devoted their lives to corporate and now in an actualization mode to help young India. Chitkara made me more disciplined & helped me to grow not only professionally but holistically as a responsible human being.

Dreams and Purpose of life have always been intriguing questions for me, Why do I exist, How can I serve humanity, what is my vision and such never ending rail of questions. Connecting the dots in hindsight, I realized how important the role has engineering from Chitkara University played in what I am today. My Alma Mater offered the platform for a positive start of career, which I efficiently used and became one of the first girls to be placed of CSE batch-(2010-2014). During my journey as Software Development Engineer, I soon got the answers of my questions and took a leap of faith for being a Certified Image Consultant and Soft-Skills Trainer. Today, I help people across various Industries to be the best version of themselves, with the aim:

I have been serving through Image Enhancement Programs and soft-skills workshops to Educational Institutes, Hospitals, HR Consulting Firms & National Skill development (NSDC) Programs.
