Every individual should have high integrity, character along with courage and that is what was taught at Chitkara besides imparting education par excellence. Having these traits helped me get into Punjab Police and I am currently posted in Ludhiana Commissionerate. I would like to say that Chitkara University is one of the prestigious institutions of the country imparting the industry leading education with in-house expertise driving excellence. An Officer is called upon to make hundreds of decisions throughout the course of a day, often using a combination of instinct, research, proper procedure, and analysis and my four years of learning were full of discipline, organizing events, thinking out of the box approach at Chitkara, which prepared me to be a Law Enforcement Official performing a vital service for the good of society.

I got placed through campus placement from Chitkara University in Infosys and Toshiba but I chose to work with Toshiba. Having joined Toshiba gave me an opportunity to explore much more than I thought I could. I am in Japan at present, onsite from Toshiba & I am working in Toshiba Software India Private limited as Software Engineer. Chitkara taught me that “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.” Through Chitkara Alumni Network, I would like thank Chitkara University for providing that platform to reach where I am today.

Life is a journey in which you have to learn and implement. Learning and upgrading yourself is never easy, but being a part of good institution helps you out in this path of continuous evolution. My journey has been really great at Chitkara, the faculty members were very motivating, and they not only helped me to evolve professionally but in other aspects of life as well. Chitkara puts a lot of effort to motivate students and to provide them an environment to innovate. The key aspect of my journey was the customized training, which really helped me a lot with my professional skills. I would like to thank Chitkara for giving direction to my life.

Right now I am working with Infosys as Senior System Engineer handling UNIX Server Support, Automation – Open Source Track [LAMP – Environment Setup]. CAN is an amazing platform which is spear heading in connecting all the Alums to their Alma Mater. Thanks to Chitkara Alumni Network.

My journey after Chitkara University has been like living a dream that was built and nurtured during my time at the University. One could acquire all the skills and training to achieve their goals in life but if you don’t have the confidence to back that up, it could become strenuous to reach there. My mentors filled that confidence and values in me to let my dreams see light of the day. Besides working in HCL Technologies as Information Security Analyst, handling all the Information Security advisory for various projects, I am currently associated with T-Series & got a break officially in T-Series Bhakti Sagar. Also, currently enrolled with T-Series Stage-works Academy, I am doing various events with them all over India. I also performed in the world famous KUMBH Mela. I am completely enjoying both the World’s. It will always be my pleasure to be a part of Chitkara Alumni Network. Chitkara University will always have a special place in my heart”.

A Proud Chitkarian & Face of Forbes. I was selected by Forbes amongst 200 people who have been supporting Startup Industry creating huge impact and couldn’t have asked for more. Today I am Head Global Business Services with Kalaari Capital ($650 mil Fund) and I head Asia for Kairos Society, a non-profit organization where we support entrepreneurs globally by investing in early stage tech startups and run global exchange and fellowship programs. I am Advisor with Yourstory making short films. I was leading the National Corporate and startup program for NASSCOM, India’s trade association for the Information Technology industry. During that stint, I led their Global Startup Program initiatives and was responsible for driving GTM strategies and innovation partnership for its various incubated startups as part of their corporate partnership program. I have also Started not- for- profit association named “Hackoffline” where we work with selected startups and support them in targeting international local markets. I am proud to be a Chitkara Alumni and would like to connect with my fellow Chitkarians with entrepreneurial mindset through Chitkara Alumni Network.

As a graduate of Chitkara, I appreciate not only the education I received, but also the values that Chitkara instilled in me. I’m currently working as a “Software Development Team Lead” with Deloitte’s Innovation Lab Dspace. Located within Communitech innovation hub in Kitchener-Waterloo, one of Canada’s leading technology Centers, Communitech is embedded with startups, high-growth companies and other corporate innovation facilities. I lead technical and business teams to explore new business models using lean-agile work methods, design thinking, in-market discovery and validation.

My advice to prospective students – take it as a life experience, get all the reading done. When you feel overwhelmed by the demand, think that one day you will miss it. It will be hard to find such a wonderful experience for learning. Enjoy it while it lasts. And last but not the least, glad to be a part of Chitkara Alumni Network.

Being a part of Chitkara eco-system, I proudly acknowledge the fact of Chitkara University being the best in country which focuses on the social, mental, physical and emotional well being of its students. The curriculum designed for students helps the students discover the new spheres of life. I was very lucky to experience and participate in the events hosted by the University and I am still working hard to carry on the legacy of this acquired habit forward with myself. The words of wisdom taught during this tenure of four years helped me in excelling each and every task which has been assigned to me till date. The University makes it’s students so capable that the top Blue-Chip Companies prefer to hire young graduates from our University. I also got hired as a Software Engineer at Tech Mahindra and this has all been possible due to the dedicated efforts by University team & the faculty, from whom I inculcated the qualities of team leading, time management, accuracy & spontaneity. Chitkara Alumni Network is the perfect platform to share that Chitkara is Temple of Wisdom from where my enriching & thrilling journey of life began.

Tracing back 6 years and recalling those days when I joined this renowned University, a novice kid with barely any confidence, Chitkara helped me grow not only professionally but also personally. Following our Motto “Explore Your potential” I focused on the best in me and thought of starting an NGO named TAP TO SMILE (@tap2smile) working in the field of performance arts.

I successfully started this organization in January, 2017 with the aim of helping the underprivileged who wanted to do something in the field of performance arts. Today, we are a team of around 75+ volunteers who have been working with lot of orphanages, old age homes, beggar homes and sex worker’s children homes based in and outside Maharashtra. My long term aim would be to see this noble cause spread across India, especially Chandigarh and have it closely knit with Chitkara University. Thank you Chitkara for helping me in becoming what I am today and all that I will be in the coming years. It’s an immense pleasure to be a part of Chitkara Alumni family and of course I owe all of this to my Alma Mater. Thank you!

I always come back to my home Chitkara. Life has been like a dream since the time I connected with Chitkara and learnt the ways of life with the motto “Explore your Potential”. From handling more that 30 US & European Projects with HCL, dream of getting in to dancing was always a passion, I go on this magical spree “everything is possible” zone and it makes my life a lot easier. I took the road less travelled by leaving my 9-5 HR job to follow my passion. Because my competition is not with the world but with myself and aim is to get better than yesterday. Since then, I have worked with International Artist Dana Alexa, leading Choreographers Remo D’Souza, Punit J Pathak, Meher Malik, Worked for Youtube channels –TVF, TIMELINERS and DANCERCISE. I am constantly taking Zumba Fitness and Dance workshop in Mumbai, Delhi, Chandigarh and various other cities of India. Got the privilege to travel China to attend and perform in Oriental Dance Championship and for all this growth & grooming, I owe my gratitude to my Alma Mater.

I have a diversified background with understanding of deep tech and its application in business scenarios. I am well- versed in intercultural communication and business practices while working with mixed teams in Singapore & India. Chitkara Alumni Network is the perfect platform to share that Chitkara is a Temple of Wisdom from where my enriching & thrilling journey of life began.

I stepped into a new phase of life which is very popularly known as “Corporate World”. They say that your first company will always be the special one and so was Infosys for me. I worked as a System Engineer at Infosys for 1.5 years and I wouldn’t lie but saying bye to Infosys after 1.5 years in 2017 was one of the toughest things I had to do. However, knowing that I’ll be going back to the college life made it a little easier. Post Infosys, I did my MBA in marketing from IMT, Hyderabad. MBA college life was fun too but if you were to ask me to choose the best of both the college life, I will choose Chitkara University in the blink of an eye. IMT gave me an opportunity to get placed in one of the big four company. Presently, I’m working as a business analyst in Deloitte and the journey has been great and full of learning so far.
Someone very correctly said that there is no end to education. It’s not that you read a book, pass an examination, and finish with your education. The whole life, from the moment you are born is a process of learning.

I was the only female athlete to be the part of Indian team for 2018 world trail championship held at Castellon, Spain. I am a full iron man triathlon finisher. I completed Mahatma Gandhi midnight marathon – ran 21kms with a podium and finished by being the 2nd runner up with timing of 1:46mins. Recently, I have completed Marathon at Shriram Properties Bengaluru Marathon 2019 in 03:57:26 (provisional timing). And last but not the least, glad to be a part of Chitkara Alumni Network.
