Dr Pawan Kumar Paras is Registrar, Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh. He holds a position of immense authority and responsibilities, which include supervision of tasks such as registration requests, framing the rules for admissions and discharges, scheduling and maintaining of the permanent records of grades, marks and lists of classes, among others and liaison with Regulatory and Statutory bodies to achieve the goals of the University.

He has long and illustrious career of 26 years of working in Academic Institutions. Dr Paras, in addition to his Post Graduate degree in Physics, holds MBA in HRM and Ph.D. Degree. During his career spanning more than two and half decades, he has excelled in various Academic and Administrative Positions in Institutions of Higher Learning.
