Dr. Nitin Verma is presently working as Professor and Principal at School of Pharmacy, Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh, India. Dr. Verma has more than 17 years of teaching, research and administrative experience. He has published more than 45 International and national research papers in peer reviewed journal and presented research work in 65 national and international conferences, seminars and workshop. He is Member of Board of Studies, Academic Council, Chairman Academic and Research Committee, Member Board of Management, Coordinator- Academic Industry Partnership Programme with CIPLA Ltd. Baddi, Mankind Pharma, Fresenius Kabi, Glenmark Pharma and Abbott Healthcare Ltd.

He has executed projects of INR more than 4.5 crores with industry. His Biography is included in Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare 2011-2012 (8th Edition) based on outstanding achievement in Medicines & Healthcare around the world and International Biographic Centre (IBC), Cambridge, England for The Cambridge Certificate for outstanding Medical Achievement 2012. He is a member of various professional societies and in reviewer board of various Journals. He has contributed chapters in 8 Books Published by Elsevier, Springer and Verlag Lambert Academic Publishing AG & Co. KG, Köln, Germany, printed in USA and UK. He is actively engaged in the field of research with special focus on toxicology, risk assessment of chemicals and their impact on environment and human health., computational toxicity studies etc.

He is a receipt of many prestigious awards like Global Senior Scholar Exchange Program award, ToxScholar Outreach Award, IUTOX Award, ASIO Scientist of Indian Origin and Global initiative Funding recipient by Society of Toxicology, (SOT) USA. He has recently visited USA, Greece, Rome, Slovakia, Australia, Japan, Switzerland and Singapore.
