The Annual NSS Camp was organized at Chitkara University, H.P. from March 26, 2018, to April 2, 2018, with a theme “Social Development through Innovation”. The camp was inaugurated by Ms. Madhu Bala, Assistant Program Advisor, Office of Regional Directorate, Chandigarh, Dr. Varinder S Kanwar, Vice-Chancellor, Chitkara University.

Several activities were organized during the camp to keeping the mind the development of the people who are living below the standards. Free Dental Checkup camps, Rally on “Importance of cleanliness”, Shramdaan in the nearby village.

A team from Mahal NGO, Nangal took a session on “The power of learning and implementing”. Inclined to Green India Misson, Tree Plantation drive was organized with the team from Punjabi Sabha, Pinjore.

NSS volunteers visited Handicap home, went to orphanage and Old Age home in Chandigarh identified the needs and problems of the people staying there and spent some time organizing fun-filled activities for them.
