The “Office of International Affairs” and “Chitkara Alumni Network (CAN) Office” were inaugurated at Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh, by Hon’ble Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro-Chancellor, Chitkara University.

The inauguration event at the University commenced with the auspicious lamp-lighting ceremony to seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswati. Varinder S Kanwar, Vice Chancellor, Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh, and Prof. Sangeeta Jaura, Pro Vice Chancellor, Office of International Affairs, graced the event with their presence.

Considering the fact that in this era of globalization, a student’s educational journey is incomplete without any form of internationalization, the Office of International Affairs will work towards facilitating and creating a platform for students to gain much-needed international exposure. Further, the Office of International Affairs would be establishing partnerships with premier universities across the globe creating various avenues for inbound and outbound, student and faculty exchange programs.

On the other hand, the Chitkara Alumni Network Office will allow the University to benefit from the skills and experience of our graduates, by offering their support to our students, and to them. By keeping our alumni network informed and engaged, we aim to have them as our loyal supporters and our best ambassadors, offering infinite opportunities across their personal and professional networks.
